Beginners' Evening
An informal coaching session covering the break, striker placement and covering the queen.
A relaxed evening for anyone new to the game or coming back after a long break. No entry, no draw, no pressure.
Two of the club's regulars run through the rules that trip people up most often — where the striker may sit, when the queen may be taken, and what covering actually requires.
Boards are set up for practice afterwards, and everyone is welcome to stay on.
